About Kammer

It started with maps of Moravia

Kammer grew out of a private collecting habit: maps of Moravia, prints, documents and the quiet need to give them proper order.

A collection became an investment

As a Moravian, I began collecting maps of Moravia. Over time I realized that this was not only a personal archive, but a valuable collection whose financial and cultural value grows when each work is placed in the right context.

The missing tools

What I missed was not only a database. Collecting also means invoices, provenance, condition notes, photographs, safe storage, acid-free boxes and sleeves, and a clear way to understand what the collection is becoming.

Why Kammer exists

Kammer is being built as a private cabinet for similarly minded collectors: a place to catalogue works, understand their value, prepare discreet Sale Rooms and connect with people who can help — art historians, galleries, auction houses, framers and conservation specialists.

Order and value

The goal is simple: every collector should have a clear overview of the collection, its story and the value that can grow over time when the works are cared for and presented in the right way.
